Whoever was at least once in Zakopane always comes back to it. This city has something of magic, especially in winter – no wonder it is called the winter capital of the Tatra Mountains. This is indeed the case, as in winter numerous slopes and ski lifts are available. Also in the summer the city offers many attractions and certainly everyone will find something for themselves.
Summer hikes in the mountains and valleys are an inseparable attribute of recreation in Zakopane. Persons slightly more lazy can take the queue to one of the Tatra peaks – throughout the season there are queues for Gubałówka, Kasprowy Wierch and Butorowy Wierch. It seems that Krupówki is one of the most famous streets in Poland. Tourists usually walk around them visiting numerous shops, cafes and cafes. There are also many regional taverns where you can play highlander music and where you can try highlander specialties. It is on Krupówki that we will buy the famous oscypki and many souvenirs reminding us of spent moments in the mountains.
For almost two months every weekend in the church. The Holy Family and in the Shrine at Krzeptówki there are concerts of organ music. Also in July and August, there is a funfair, which is especially popular among children. For all those who, even on holiday, can not part with the bike, several attractive cycle routes have been prepared. After cycling, we will definitely relax in the Aqua Park, which makes a real sensation in Zakopane. There are swimming pools, saunas, ice cave, jacuzzi, hydromassage, slides and bowling.
